A plastic bag takes more than 400 years to dissolve. For this reason, we rescued plastic bags from the sea and turned them into documents that contained the commitment of the Peruvian government to protect the sea from plastic.
So the president of Peru and his 17 ministers started this initiative, and during COP25, held in Madrid, the main world leaders committed and signed our document to promote initiatives to preserve the ocean free of plastic for at least 400 years.
